When unflattering pictures of his wife in a bikini appeared in the newspapers, Paul Daniels leapt to her defence, saying she looked better than Madonna.
And judging from the couple's latest pose, the 70-year-old magician has just as high an opinion of himself.
He and Debbie McGee, 50, stripped off to recreate David and Victoria Beckham's advertisement for Emporio Armani.
In a polka-dot bra and knickers, Miss McGee made a passable impression of Posh's pout.

But not even a pair of Armani underpants and fake tattoos could help her husband achieve Beckham's footballer physique.
The Beckhams' original advert for the Italian fashion label smouldered from billboards when it was released last month.
Meanwhile, pictures of Daniels and Miss McGee in the Caribbean were attracting attention for an altogether different reason.
He was ridiculed for wearing black loafers and pale blue socks on the beach - and his wife, was pictured looking more curvaceous than usual.
Daniels, famous for his catchphrase 'not a lot', hit out at his wife's critics on his blog and claimed she looked better than Madonna.
He even posted bikini pictures of her on the internet, as well as a snap of himself wearing blue trunks and a black SAS-style balaclava.
This month, Miss McGee put on a top hat and fishnet stockings, mimicking a classic Madonna pose.
The full feature appears in Closer magazine.
